Use this button to take a snapshot while the connected to a process. Once you have taken a snapshot you can open various views on the snapshot, read more...
What is a snapshot?
A snapshot is a copy of the current state of memory. A snapshot contains:
- The state of all pages in the process
- Information on how much memory is allocated
- Information on all currently active allocations
Note that this standard snapshot does not contain the contents of memory. To capture the contents of memory use the Full Snapshot.
How to take a snapshot at a previous point in time?
Right click in the graph panel where you want to take the snapshot and click 'Take Snapshot'. This can be done connected or disconnected.
