MemPro

MemPro License

By installing MemPro you are agreeing to this license agreement:
Download EULA

License Summary

MemPro can be used freely for 30 days without purchasing a license. This time starts when MemPro is first installed. After 30 days has expired you will need to purchase a license to continue using MemPro.

After purchasing a license you will be emailed a license key of the form:

Name/email username@domain-001.com
Key 12345-12345-12345-12345-12345

Enter these deails exactly at they appear into the registration form in MemPro, which can be found in the Help menu -> Enter Key... The 001 number at the end of the license is to allow for multiple licenses to be purchased by the same company or individual. Each license that is purchased will have its own name/key pair, with this number incremented.

MemPro is licensed per install. One license allows for MemPro to be installed on one machine at a time. The license is perpetual, and includes all minor number version upgrades.

When registering the software MemPro will communicate with the PureDev Software server. It does this using an http request. Please ensure that MemPro is allowed to contact IP 94.136.40.103 through port 80. MemPro will also check that the license is valid on startup.

If your company does not permit the software to connect to the PureDev server then you can register your install via the PureDev website.. The software will generate a code that you need to enter on the PureDev website. The website will then give you a code that you need to enter into the software to unlock it. You can register via the website by using the link in the registration dialog box. The software can also be unregistered in a similar way.

Moving the license to another machine

Each license can be registered on one install at a time. However, it is possible to move the license from one install to another.

  • Registering the license on a new install will automatically invalidate old install
  • Uninstalling the software will remove the license, allowing it to be used on another install
  • Licenses can only be moved once every 7 days

Local License Server

The local license server is designed for large companies that need to manage many licenses. Instead of connecting to the PureDev license server the software connects to a local license server hosted and maintained by you. Instead of each person having a unique registration key, they simply enter the name of your shared server. The server allows the number of installs that you have purchased, and extra installs can be easily purchased.

  • Allows you to keep track of the licenses that are in use
  • Allows you to manually unregister licenses
  • Allows you to use the software in situations where access to the PureDev license server is blocked.

If you are interested in hosting your own license server please contact PureDev Software.

See here for more details on setting up the server.
